This past weekend we had the US open fuel championships at Fear Farm in Arizona. Race had a good turnout with the likes of Cavalieri, Maifield, Lutz, savoya, Bornhorst and Fischer to name a few.
My Serpent cars were solid all weekend.
With Cobra Truggy TE I was top 5 in qualifying and knew it was a solid truck for the finals. Pace was pretty good. The top two had some extra pace but I was able to drive it home to a third place finish.
The Cobra Buggy 2.2 was pretty solid. I started 4th in my semi and finished in the same spot. The hour long final went smooth and was able to bring home 6th place in that with a very strong top ten field.
